MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on December 6, 2023, at an AT&T store on Elm Street.
Officers responded to the 6:33 p.m. incident, where a suspect, described as a Black male with twisted hair, wearing sunglasses and a black and blue coat, posed as a customer.
The suspect inquired about purchasing an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Later, he intimidated an employee by implying possession of a weapon and left with the phone.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and request anyone with information to come forward.
