Man shot dead in broad daylight on Woodbrook Avenue in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 25-year-old man was gunned down in the middle of the day on a residential street in West Baltimore, marking the latest fatal shooting in the city’s ongoing battle with gun violence.

The victim was found around 1:32 p.m. Wednesday on the 2800 block of Woodbrook Avenue, suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. Emergency medics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Detectives with the city’s homicide unit have launched an investigation but have not released the victim’s identity or any information about possible suspects or motives. The area where the shooting occurred, part of the city’s Western District, has seen multiple violent incidents in recent months.
