Manhattan, NY – A lucky ticket sold in Manhattan has won a third prize in the recent Powerball drawing.

The New York Lottery announced that one third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the October 9 Powerball drawing. The ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at NYC Smoke Shop & Grocery, located at 809 8th Ave in Manhattan.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69, while the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
