WOODBRIDGE, VA – Police were called to Woodbridge Station Apartments on Wednesday afternoon to address a domestic dispute that escalated into an alleged abduction. The incident involved a 22-year-old woman and Jamari Ankrah, whom the police identified as the accused.

During the altercation, Ankrah reportedly struck the woman and prevented her from leaving the room. When a 33-year-old female family member attempted to intervene, Ankrah brandished a firearm before exiting the premises. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Following the investigation, authorities issued arrest warrants for Ankrah, charging him with one count of abduction, two counts of brandishing a firearm, and one count of domestic assault and battery. Police efforts to locate Ankrah, described as a 23-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 150 lbs and standing 5’9″ tall, have so far been unsuccessful.
