Boy Charged for Murder in NYC Triple Shooting That Left Two Dead

NEW YORK, NY – A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged with murder and weapons possession on Tuesday night within the 34th Precinct. The arrest, made at 11:45 PM, is connected to a shooting incident that took place on Sunday.

The tragic event occurred at West 207 Street and 10th Avenue, where police responded to reports of a shooting at around 11:41 PM last Sunday. Upon arrival, officers discovered three male victims with gunshot wounds. Two victims, aged 44 and 40, were later pronounced dead.

The deceased have been identified as Michael James, 44, of Jesup Avenue, and Alejandro Ramirez, 45, of Sedgwick Avenue, both located in the Bronx. The charges against the teenager include two counts each of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Emergency Medical Services transported the critically injured 44-year-old and a 37-year-old victim in stable condition to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem. The 37-year-old survived, but the 44-year-old was later declared deceased. The 40-year-old victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Allen Hospital, where he also succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
