Stafford County Sheriff's Office Reports Multiple Incidents

STAFFORD, VA—The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released their daily incident report for yesterday, outlining multiple criminal and traffic-related incidents.

A breaking and entering was reported on Lakeview Drive around noon. Deputy C.D. Sullivan responded to the scene where a door was found broken and spray paint covered the walls inside the house. No further details about the writings or suspects have been released.

At 6:50 PM, deputies addressed a report of a drunk driver at Mountains View Market on Mountain View Road. Deputy R.L. Hubbard and Deputy V.R. Weadon observed a green truck swerving out of its lane. The driver showed signs of intoxication, had an open beer in the vehicle, and lacked a driver’s license. He was arrested and is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Later, at 11:00 PM, Deputy S. Waheed investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in a fire lane on Fulton Drive. The driver, who appeared intoxicated, admitted to drinking before driving and was detained until sober at the same facility.

In another incident at the Public Safety Building, Deputy D.A. Robertson met with a fraud victim who reported unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account after being deceived by a fake security company call.

Lastly, Deputy K.F. Bierfeldt responded to a disturbance at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Hospital Center Boulevard at 8:04 PM. A man, evidently intoxicated, was found shouting at people and was arrested for public intoxication. He was also detained at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
