Philadelphia lottery ticket wins $1 million powerball prize — money bag- big stock

Middletown, PA—A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Philadelphia retailer for the drawing on September 23.

The winning ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn—15, 21, 25, 37, and 45—but did not match the red Powerball, which was 19. The retailer, Sak Traders Inc., located at 3670 Richmond Street, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners remain anonymous until prizes are claimed and validated. Pennsylvania Lottery winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Tickets purchased at a retailer should be signed on the back, while online winnings will appear in a player’s account after processing.

In addition, over 26,700 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won various prizes in the same drawing, including more than 5,300 tickets purchased with Power Play and over 3,100 with Double Play. Players are reminded to check every ticket after each drawing.

The Powerball jackpot has rolled to an estimated annuity value of $223 million, or $112.2 million cash, for the next drawing on Wednesday, September 25.
