NYPD seeks suspect in stabbing robbery at Westchester Square

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating an individual wanted in connection with a robbery and stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident took place around 1:00 a.m. on October 13, 2024, inside a store at 91 Westchester Square. A 25-year-old male employee attempted to stop an individual from stealing property when the suspect produced a knife and attacked the victim. The employee was stabbed in the neck, arm, and head.

Emergency responders transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is listed in critical condition. The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact the NYPD.
