CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A Chesapeake Fire Department vehicle responding to an emergency call was involved in a collision at the intersection of Greenbrier Parkway and Kempsville Road on Halloween afternoon. The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m., according to the Chesapeake Police Department.

Police said the fire department vehicle, which had its lights and sirens activated, was passing through the intersection when it collided with another vehicle. No injuries were reported from the crash, authorities confirmed.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and charges are pending based on the findings. Authorities have not released details on the cause of the collision or whether either driver will be cited.
