ROSEDALE, Md. – A 21-year-old Maryland man was arrested early Thursday morning in connection with a disruptive car rally takeover in Philadelphia, according to Maryland State Police.

Juawarn Williams, of Rosedale, was taken into custody without incident at 5 a.m. by members of the Maryland Car Rally Task Force in coordination with the Philadelphia Police Department. Authorities say the arrest follows an investigation into Williams’ alleged involvement in a rally that led to public disturbances in Philadelphia.

Williams faces multiple charges in Pennsylvania, including recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, riot, and fleeing a police officer.
