Police investigate sexual assault at Osbourn Park High School, suspect sought

MANASSAS, Va. — Authorities are investigating a sexual assault reported at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, where an adult female student says she was assaulted inside a restroom near the gym earlier this school year.

The investigation began on November 15, after the student reported the incident to school staff and the School Resource Officer. According to police, the assault occurred during the first two weeks of the 2024-2025 school year in August, but it had not been reported until now.

The victim stated that an unknown individual entered her bathroom stall and sexually assaulted her. The suspect is described as a Caucasian or light-skinned person of unconfirmed gender, with a thin build and standing approximately 5’8” to 5’9”. At the time of the incident, the suspect was reportedly wearing an animal costume mask, a dark long-sleeve shirt, and full-length pants of an unknown color.

Law enforcement and school officials are working closely to investigate the incident and identify the suspect. No additional details have been released at this time.

Anyone with information about the assault or the suspect is urged to contact local police as the investigation continues.
