QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man during a dispute on Fresh Pond Road in Queens on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. on January 9 in front of 62-58 Fresh Pond Road when a verbal altercation between a 40-year-old man and an unidentified individual escalated.
Police said the suspect struck the victim in the stomach with a sharp object before fleeing southbound on Fresh Pond Road.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he is listed in stable condition.
Authorities have not released a description of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
