PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A domestic incident at the Point At Manassas Apartments on Monday afternoon has prompted a search for a man accused of breaking into a woman’s home and strangling her with an electrical cord.

The attack occurred just after 4:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Juliet Lane, where investigators say the suspect forced his way into the victim’s apartment. Following a verbal argument, the man allegedly struck the woman multiple times before wrapping an electrical cord around her neck, causing her to temporarily lose consciousness.

Prince William County Police have identified the suspect as 33-year-old Cameron Alexander Neal of Culpeper. Warrants have been issued for Neal’s arrest on charges of strangulation, malicious wounding, and burglary. Officers attempted to locate him but were unsuccessful. Authorities urge anyone with knowledge of Neal’s whereabouts to contact police immediately.
