HYATTSVILLE, MD — A Prince George’s County woman is celebrating a $30,479 Racetrax win after her $1 Superfecta quick-pick ticket paid off in a big way.
The lucky winner placed a $1 Superfecta wager on the 3, 9, 5, and 11 horses for 15 consecutive races. On Jan. 13, those horses crossed the finish line in the exact order, securing her the top prize. The Hyattsville resident, who works as a cashier, plans to use the money to buy a car and pay off bills.
The winning ticket was purchased at Calverton Exxon on Powder Mill Road in Beltsville. The retailer will also benefit from the win, receiving a $304.79 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the lucky ticket.
