MAX MEADOWS, VA — A simple online lottery game turned into a life-changing moment for Frankye Reavis, who won a $594,571 jackpot while playing Castle of Crystals on her phone.

The jackpot, which grows as more people play, delivered the massive prize to Reavis, a resident of Wythe County. Castle of Crystals is one of many online instant games available on the Virginia Lottery’s app and website, with odds of winning any prize set at 1 in 3.99.

Virginia players can also purchase tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, and other draw games online, provided they are 18 or older and physically located in the state.

Wythe County, where Reavis resides, received more than $3.9 million in Virginia Lottery funds for K-12 education last fiscal year, contributing to the statewide total of $934 million raised for public schools in Fiscal Year 2024.

The Virginia Lottery encourages players to check their winnings and play responsibly while continuing to support education across the Commonwealth.
