WAYNE, OH – A lottery player won $50,000 after purchasing a Winter Fun scratch-off ticket at a Wayne convenience store.
The winning ticket was bought at Friendship Food Store #78, located at 3274 Defiance Pike.
After a 28 percent deduction for state and federal taxes, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.
Winter Fun is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000. As of February 10, two top prizes remain.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
