Elmhurst, New York — A TAKE 5 top-prize ticket worth $37,538 was sold at a neighborhood grocery in Elmhurst for the Friday evening drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at Lucky Huang Grocery Store, located at 8261 Broadway. It matched all five numbers drawn on Friday in the TAKE 5 EVENING game.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a pool ranging from one to 39. The exact numbers drawn for Friday’s win were not disclosed in the announcement.

Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, regardless of the prize amount. The identity of the winner has not yet been made public.

The Lucky Huang Grocery Store that sold the ticket is one of many local outlets participating in the New York Lottery network of retailers across the state.
