BALTIMORE, Md. — Three people, including a 14-year-old boy, were injured in a shooting Monday evening in Baltimore’s Southern District, according to police.

Officers initially responded around 5:38 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire in the 1100 block of Sargeant Street. While responding to the alert, police also received calls reporting a shooting at the same location.

At the scene, officers found a 25-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The two victims were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition.

Shortly after, officers were alerted to a third victim who had arrived at a hospital seeking treatment. The 14-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound to the leg and is also listed in stable condition.

Investigators believe all three individuals were shot at the same location on Sargeant Street, though the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
