PHILADELPHIA – Police are investigating three separate stabbing incidents that occurred early Saturday morning across different neighborhoods in the city, sending three adult male victims to area hospitals.
The most recent incident took place around 5:06 a.m. on the 2100 block of East Tioga Street in the 24th District. An adult male was stabbed once and transported by Medic 45 to Temple University Hospital. Police have not released his condition.
Earlier, at approximately 3:19 a.m., an adult male was stabbed on the 1300 block of West Venango Street in the 25th District. He was taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. Authorities have not provided additional details on the nature of his injuries or his current status.
The earliest of the three attacks occurred at 1:54 a.m. in the 39th District. Officers responded to a reported stabbing inside Apartment 405 on the 200 block of West Queen Lane. The victim, also an adult male, was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Medic 28.
Investigations remain ongoing
As of Saturday morning, police had not disclosed the identities of the victims or whether any suspects had been identified or arrested in connection with the incidents.
Investigators have not indicated whether the stabbings are related or random, and no motives have been disclosed.
