SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Lackawanna County won $200,000 in Monday night’s Powerball drawing after matching four white balls plus the red Powerball, lottery officials confirmed Tuesday.

The winning ticket, sold at Tobacco King at 1150 Northern Boulevard, matched numbers 13, 28, 44, 52, 55 with the Powerball 6. Thanks to a $1 Power Play option, the prize jumped from $50,000 to $200,000 with a 4X multiplier.

Tobacco King will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Players have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets immediately. Online players receive prizes directly to their accounts once validated.

Next jackpot climbs to $174 million

Monday’s drawing also produced more than 15,900 other winning tickets in Pennsylvania, including over 3,700 with Power Play and more than 2,300 with Double Play.

The Powerball jackpot rolled over to an estimated $174 million annuity, or $79.7 million cash, for Wednesday’s drawing.

Players can purchase tickets in stores or online and find participating retailers at palottery.com.
