Baltimore Shooter Strikes 28-Year-Old Multiple Times

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 28-year-old man was shot and wounded Monday night in a Northern District incident under investigation by city detectives, police said.

Officers responded around 9:40 p.m. to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Greenmount Avenue and 33rd Street, where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics took the man to a local hospital, where he was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Investigators believe the shooting actually took place in the 3100 block of Old York Road before the victim made his way to the Greenmount Avenue area.

Police seek public’s help in probe

Northern District Shooting Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2455.

The investigation remains active, with no arrests announced as of Tuesday.

Police said no other injuries were reported in the area.

Detectives are continuing to gather witness statements and review potential video evidence.
