Triple Shooting Friday Night in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Three men were wounded in a shooting Friday evening in West Philadelphia, according to police.

Officers from the 18th District responded at approximately 6:48 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 5700 block of Osage Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered two adult male victims with gunshot wounds. Both were transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police said one of the men is in critical condition, while the second is listed in stable condition.

A third adult male later arrived at Penn Presbyterian by private vehicle and is also reported to be in stable condition, according to officials.

No arrests have been made, and authorities said no motive has been determined. “The investigation is active and ongoing,” the department confirmed Friday night.

The case is being handled by the Shooting Investigation Group (SIG).

Three victims were hospitalized as investigators work to determine what led to Friday’s gunfire.
