NEW YORK — Two lucky TAKE 5 players are holding top-prize winning tickets from Tuesday’s midday drawing, each worth $8,980.50, the New York Lottery announced.

One winning ticket was sold at H & I Grocery, located at 2847 86th Street in Brooklyn. The other was purchased at P&A Wine Warehouse at 601 Portion Road in Ronkonkoma.

The TAKE 5 game draws from a pool of numbers one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winning tickets must be claimed within one year from the draw date.

Each retailer will also receive a bonus for selling a top-prize ticket, per New York Lottery policy.

The New York Lottery remains the most profitable in North America, contributing $3.8 billion to New York State public education during the last fiscal year.
