VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Police are searching for additional victims after arresting a North Carolina man accused of committing two armed robberies, one involving sexual assault, in Virginia Beach earlier this week.

On Sunday around 2 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Christian Court for a reported robbery where the suspect allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint before fleeing, police said.

On Monday at about 1:32 a.m., officers were called to the 4600 block of Commerce Street for a reported sexual assault and robbery. Investigators determined that the same suspect had sexually assaulted and robbed the victim at gunpoint.

Detectives identified the suspect as Phillip Graham, 27, of North Carolina. Warrants were obtained for three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, two counts of robbery using a firearm, two counts of abduction, and forcible sodomy.

Graham was arrested Tuesday by Norfolk police, who reported he faces additional charges there. Virginia Beach police are urging anyone who may have been victimized by Graham to contact the VBPD Violent Crimes Unit at 757-385-4101.
