Woman shot inside North Philly home early Saturday, no arrests made

PHILADELPHIA — A woman was shot early Saturday morning inside a property in the city’s Logan section, police said.

The shooting occurred around 1:02 a.m. on the 4500 block of North 20th Street, within the 35th District. According to police, an adult female was struck by gunfire inside the property and was taken to Einstein Medical Center by private vehicle. Her condition was not immediately known.

The scene was secured for investigation, and no arrests have been made. Authorities have not released any information on a possible motive.

The case is being handled by the Shooting Investigation Group.
