Hanover shooting suspects arrested after gunfire exchange injured bystander

HANOVER, MD – Detectives have arrested four people in connection with a June 20 shooting near Arundel Mills Boulevard that left a 21-year-old woman wounded after being caught in crossfire between two vehicles.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire around 8 p.m. found several vehicles struck by bullets and a woman with a non-life-threatening upper body injury. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage, tracked a suspect vehicle to the Meade Village community, and obtained search warrants. Evidence from the vehicle led detectives to three locations in Meade Village and one in Baltimore City. On July 18, search warrants at those sites led to the seizure of multiple firearms, extended magazines, electronic devices, more than $5,600 in cash, 5,828 grams of suspected cannabis, and 31 grams of suspected PCP.

Police arrested a 15-year-old male from Severn, Jermaine Anthony Ricks, 39, of Severn, Drameek Carlius Wallace, 25, of Glen Burnie, and Davon Antoine Hughes, 27, of Glen Burnie. Hughes faces additional CDS and firearm charges.
