STRATFORD, Conn. — A Bridgeport lottery player walked away with a $10,274 prize after hitting the FAST PLAY $2 Stacks of Ca$h Progressive jackpot, Connecticut Lottery officials announced Tuesday.
The winning ticket was sold at the ShopRite of Stratford, giving the popular grocery store bragging rights as the location of the latest FAST PLAY jackpot win. The winner, whose identity has not yet been released, purchased the $2 ticket and scored the growing progressive prize.
FAST PLAY progressive games are instant win games where the jackpot grows with each ticket sold statewide until a player lands the top prize. Once a jackpot is hit, it resets to its base amount and begins building again with each purchase.
The $2 Stacks of Ca$h game is among the Connecticut Lottery’s FAST PLAY options, which provide players with the chance to win instantly without waiting for a drawing.
