The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Hayes Street. Police said two people approached the teen, and one suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded his belongings before firing.

Officers found the teen with a graze wound to his head. He was treated at the scene by medics and transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

Both suspects fled before police arrived.
