Watch: Cosplaying Superhero Arrested by ICE in unhinged attack on agents

Chicago, IL – Newly released drone footage from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement shows anti-ICE demonstrators blocking officers during a federal enforcement effort in Chicago last week. The incident occurred during “Operation Midway Blitz,” when ICE personnel moved to protect federal property from protesters gathered near the site.

In the video, one individual wearing superhero-themed apparel is seen picking up a tear gas canister and hurling it back toward officers. Officials say the man, who drew attention on social media for his costume, was immediately detained and has since been charged.

ICE stated the footage demonstrates how some demonstrators deliberately obstructed officers and agents as they carried out their duties. “Our personnel acted to protect federal property in the face of coordinated resistance,” the agency said in its public release.
