DELRAN, NJ – State Sen. Troy Singleton will host a Burlington County veterans appreciation dinner on Wednesday, October 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. at VFW Post 3020, 1125 S. Fairview Street.
Space is limited and advance registration is required at www.troysingleton.com/feedingheroes.
The event is presented in partnership with Feeding Our Heroes and will bring together local veterans, their families, and support organizations.
Organizers said the dinner will double as a resource fair, offering on-site connections to state agencies and community groups as well as personalized assistance for benefits and services. Veterans and family members will receive a complimentary meal while meeting providers who can address housing, health care, employment, and other resources relevant to military service. In a statement announcing the event, Singleton said the goal is to ensure those who served “receive the support and recognition they’ve earned,” adding that attendees should leave with “meaningful connections” to help in daily life.
According to the announcement, staff will be available for one-on-one guidance and referrals throughout the afternoon, with information tables staffed by participating organizations. The program is designed to streamline access to assistance by placing service providers and veterans in the same room, lowering barriers to follow-up after the event. Families are encouraged to attend to learn about eligibility, documentation, and next steps for ongoing appreciation and support.
