Robbers caught on camera after bold Union Station garage attack

Washington, DC — A robbery and assault inside the Union Station parking garage has sparked a search for two suspects captured on surveillance footage, after a pair of victims were attacked late Tuesday night in Northeast.

The incident unfolded around 10 p.m. on October 14 in the Unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast, where a group of individuals approached a man in the garage, physically assaulted him, and took his belongings before fleeing. A second victim nearby was also assaulted, though no property was taken in that case.

Neither victim sustained injuries during the attacks.

Two of the suspects were captured on surveillance cameras stationed near the garage, and police have released the images in hopes that the public can help identify them.

Detectives have not released further details about what was stolen or how many individuals were involved in total. Investigators are continuing to work leads and review area footage from nearby businesses and public spaces.
