Trio swipes new iPhones from Staten Island Best Buy in afternoon heist

Staten Island, NY – A group of three unidentified men made off with two high-end iPhones from a Best Buy on Richmond Avenue in a bold, broad-daylight theft Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when the suspects entered the store at 2795 Richmond Avenue and removed an Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max and an iPhone Air from the display area, worth a combined $2,199.98.

The trio then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.

Authorities released descriptions of all three suspects in hopes of identifying them. The first individual is described as a man with a medium complexion and glasses. He was last seen wearing a multicolored baseball cap, tan long-sleeve shirt, blue vest, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The second suspect is also described as a man with a medium complexion, glasses, and black hair. He was last seen wearing a pink jacket, white T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

The third man is described as having a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, multicolored jacket, black pants, and white sneakers.
