Dover, DE – A Saturday afternoon road rage confrontation turned dangerous when a driver opened fire on another vehicle along North Dupont Highway, striking the victim’s car before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. as a 56-year-old Dover woman attempted to pass a slower-moving pickup truck near Fork Branch Road.
Moments later, as she stopped at a red light, the pickup’s driver pulled alongside her vehicle and fired a single shot.
