Man shot in the arm during East Eager Street shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A 23-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in East Baltimore, prompting a police investigation led by Central District detectives.

Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of East Eager Street around 7:05 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert indicated gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and investigators have not released details about a suspect or possible motive. The area was secured while detectives processed the scene and canvassed for witnesses.
