Brooklyn Park man arrested after police seize pills and cash during car search
Brooklyn Park, MD – A 24-year-old man was taken into custody after detectives executed a vehicle search warrant and discovered multiple prescription pills and cash during a drug investigation in Brooklyn Park.
On November 10 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Anne Arundel County detectives conducted a search of a red Acura near the intersection of Wasena Avenue and Cross Street. The vehicle had been under surveillance as part of a broader investigation into drug activity in the area.
The search yielded:
- Approximately 4.44 grams of suspected alprazolam (38 pills)
- Approximately one gram of oxycodone
- $300 in U.S. currency
The driver, identified as Mateo Triston Robinson of Brooklyn Park, was arrested on drug-related charges. Police did not specify if additional charges are expected or if the seized substances were intended for distribution.
