Monmouth County ticket hits $2.8 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in record solo win
Trenton, NJ — One lucky player in Monmouth County struck it big Friday night, claiming a $2.8 million jackpot in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing — the game’s largest individual prize of the year.
The winning ticket, worth $2,849,336, matched all five numbers drawn: 10, 17, 33, 38, and 43. The ticket also included the Bullseye number, 33, and the XTRA multiplier of 02. It was sold at One Stop Food Store located at 804 Main Street in Belford, a neighborhood within Middletown Township. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
This marks the 60th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot win this year and surpasses all previous individual payouts in 2025. The previous record was set on October 7, when a $3.8 million jackpot was split between two players. Friday’s win marks the highest solo haul so far.
Alongside the jackpot winner, 68 players matched four numbers and the Bullseye, each securing $500. Of those, 17 players also matched the XTRA, doubling their prizes to $1,000.
The popular daily game now resets to a $150,000 starting jackpot for tonight’s drawing. Jersey Cash 5 continues to offer strong odds for New Jersey players, with multiple prize tiers and daily chances to win.
The winner has not yet been identified or come forward to claim the prize.
