Queens deli sells winning Cash4Life ticket worth $1,000 a day for life

Queens, NY – A lottery player who bought a Cash4Life ticket in Oakland Gardens just became New York’s newest millionaire, scoring the game’s top prize of $1,000 a day for life in the December 23 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Heta Deli Convenience, located at 213-22 48th Avenue. The prize guarantees a minimum payout of $7 million if the winner opts for the lump sum instead of the daily lifetime annuity.

The winning numbers for the December 23 Cash4Life draw have not yet been publicly matched to a winner, but the ticket matched all five white balls and the Cash Ball, securing the game’s top-tier prize. The Cash4Life game selects five numbers from a field of one to 60, plus a Cash Ball number from a separate pool of one to four.

Cash4Life drawings take place daily at approximately 9 p.m., and winning draw game tickets in New York can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

This jackpot win adds to the long list of prizes delivered by the New York Lottery, which contributed $3.6 billion in education funding during the 2024–2025 fiscal year, making it North America’s largest and most profitable lottery system.
