BROOKLYN, NY – A 10-year-old boy was robbed on Christmas evening when a man grabbed him and snatched imitation money from his hand on 42nd Street, police said. The incident occurred around 5:52 p.m. in front of 1534 42nd Street as the child was walking when an unidentified man approached and forcibly took the fake bills.

The suspect fled on foot, heading south on 42nd Street, and has not been seen since. The boy was not injured.

Authorities described the suspect as a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, a black hat, and black sneakers.
