Wanted man found with fentanyl-laced paraphernalia in Owings gas station arrest
OWINGS, MD — A man wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody at a gas station, where deputies also found drug paraphernalia suspected to contain fentanyl.
On Tuesday, January 8, DFC Newton spotted a known wanted suspect at the Dash Inn, located at 136 E. Chesapeake Beach Road. The suspect, Kevin Darnell Commodore, 38, of Lusby, was taken into custody without incident.
A search of Commodore’s person and vehicle revealed several items of paraphernalia containing a white powdery residue. Commodore told deputies the substance was fentanyl. He was charged with CDS: Possession – Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.
