Clarksburg hits 158K jackpot as Greenbelt scores 50K

CLARKSBURG, MD – Two Maryland Lottery players are holding winning tickets after Monday night drawings delivered a $158,107 FAST PLAY jackpot in Clarksburg and a $50,000 Powerball prize in Greenbelt.

The $158,107 winner came from the $5 FAST PLAY Chili Pepper Payout progressive jackpot game. The ticket was sold at Harris Teeter, located at 22700 Sweet Shrub Drive in Montgomery County.

Lottery officials said the retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the progressive jackpot-winning ticket. This marks the fourth jackpot claimed in the Chili Pepper Payout game, with 15 progressive jackpots still remaining. After the latest win, the jackpot reset to $40,000 and increases incrementally with each non-jackpot ticket sold.

In Prince George’s County, a separate player purchased a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 at American Legion Greenbelt Post 136, located at 6900 Greenbelt Road.

Powerball drawing details released

The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing were 16, 18, 19, 56, 58, and a Powerball of 6. The Greenbelt ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball, securing the third-tier prize.
