Queens, NY – Police are searching for a suspect believed to be behind two armed robbery incidents targeting commercial establishments in Queens, both occurring during early morning hours one week apart. The incidents, which unfolded in the 106th Precinct, involved a firearm and similar escape patterns, raising concerns about a possible connection.

The first incident occurred around 12:32 a.m. on March 21 at a business located at 125-15 Liberty Avenue. Authorities said the suspect entered the establishment, displayed a firearm, and demanded money before fleeing empty-handed.

Second robbery resulted in stolen property

A second incident was reported one week later, around 3:00 a.m. on March 28, at a business located at 115-07 Lefferts Boulevard. Police said the suspect again displayed a firearm and demanded money.

“On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 3:00 A.M., an unidentified individual entered a commercial establishment located at 115-07 Lefferts Boulevard, displayed a firearm and demanded money,” NYPD Crimestoppers stated. “The individual removed property and fled the incident location on a bicycle, traveling northbound on Lefferts Boulevard.”

In the March 21 incident, police said no property was taken. “On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at approximately 12:32 A.M., an unidentified individual entered a commercial establishment located at 125-15 Liberty Avenue, displayed a firearm and demanded money,” the department said. “No property was removed and the individual fled the incident location on a bicycle, traveling southbound on 126 Street.”

Police investigating possible connection between incidents

Investigators have not confirmed whether the same individual is responsible for both robberies but noted similarities in the suspect’s actions and method of escape.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. “Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline,” the department said.
