NYPD seeks man accused of forcible touching at busy Roosevelt Avenue station
Queens, NY – Police are searching for a suspect accused of forcibly touching a woman inside a busy Queens subway station during the early morning hours. The incident occurred at a major transit hub and ended with the suspect fleeing on foot.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. on March 28 at the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street subway station, within the 110th Precinct and Transit District 20. Authorities said the victim, a 22-year-old woman, had just entered the station when she was approached.

Police said the suspect grabbed the victim from behind before quickly fleeing the area. “A 22-year-old female victim entered the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street subway station… The victim was approached by an unidentified individual, who proceeded to grab her buttocks from behind before fleeing on foot to parts unknown,” NYPD Crimestoppers stated.

The suspect has not been identified, and no description has been released. Authorities have not indicated whether surveillance footage is being used in the investigation.

The NYPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information about the suspect to contact investigators.
“Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline,” the department said.
