WASHINGTON, D.C. — A shooting inside a Northwest Washington residence that initially appeared to have no victims has now led to an arrest, multiple gun charges, and the recovery of a handgun police say was stolen.

The Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of 35-year-old Isaias Moriera Castillo of Northwest Washington in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this month.

According to investigators, Third District officers responded at approximately 6:18 p.m. on May 17 to reports of gunfire in the 2600 block of 15th Street Northwest.
