Middlesex County player hits all five numbers as lottery surge sends $150K reset rolling back into play
TRENTON, NJ – Monday, June 1, 2026 – A Middlesex County lottery player walked away with a $923,790 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot after matching all five numbers in Saturday’s drawing, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.
The winning ticket was sold at 7 Days Food Store, located at 392 North Ave. in Dunellen, marking one of the larger Cash 5 payouts in recent weeks and instantly turning the neighborhood retailer into a jackpot-selling location.
The winning numbers drawn were 02, 11, 24, 40 and 41. Officials confirmed the Bullseye number was 40, while the XTRA number was 02, contributing to additional prize tiers across the drawing.
Alongside the jackpot win, 29 other players matched four out of five numbers plus the Bullseye, earning $500 each. Of those, six players doubled their winnings to $1,000 after opting into the XTRA feature, lottery officials said.
The identity of the jackpot winner has not been released, and it remains unclear whether the ticket has been claimed.
Following the payout, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $150,000 for the next drawing, continuing the game’s rolling prize structure that builds until the next top winner is drawn.
Lottery officials note that Jersey Cash 5 tickets are sold statewide through licensed retailers, with drawings held daily.
