Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the assault of a 67-year-old woman in Queens.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. on June 23 near the intersection of 43rd Street and 47th Avenue within the confines of the 108th Precinct.
Victim assaulted during verbal dispute
Police said the woman was walking in the area when she was approached by an unidentified individual who engaged her in a verbal dispute.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly slapped the 67-year-old victim in the face before fleeing on foot eastbound along 47th Avenue.
Authorities did not release information about the extent of the victim’s injuries.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspect and is asking anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the incident to come forward.
