Police release surveillance images after two victims robbed at gunpoint
NORTHWEST DC — Two people walking to their vehicle in a Northwest DC parking garage were confronted by armed robbers who assaulted one victim and stole property before fleeing, and detectives are now asking the public to help identify the suspects.
The robbery occurred at approximately 5:28 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, in the 1100 block of 18th Street Northwest.

Investigators said the victims were walking to their vehicle, which was parked inside a garage at the location, when they were approached by two suspects armed with handguns.
Police said the suspects assaulted one of the victims and stole property from both before fleeing the area prior to officers’ arrival.
The suspects were captured on nearby surveillance cameras, and the Metropolitan Police Department has released images in an effort to identify them.
No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
