Police search for masked suspects after gunfire on 12th Street Northeast

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for multiple suspects after a shooting was reported Thursday evening in Northeast DC, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The shooting was reported at approximately 7:02 p.m. in the 2600 block of 12th Street Northeast DC.

MPD said investigators are looking for a black Mercedes-Benz occupied by three to four individuals, all reportedly wearing ski masks.

No information about possible victims or injuries was immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or the suspects is urged not to approach them and to call 911 immediately.
