Nine-year-old shelter resident hopes the right family will give her another home
JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A sweet dog who once had a home is now waiting at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, where staff hope a new family will give her another chance.
Nala has been available for adoption at the Jackson Township shelter after losing her previous home. Shelter staff describe her as an affectionate 9 1/2 year old dog who still enjoys chasing tennis balls, rolling over for belly rubs and showing off the commands she already knows.

According to Friends of Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, Nala would do best with a confident owner who can provide structure and a home where she is the only pet. She can live with children ages 7 and older.
Nala is already spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, making her ready to go home with an adopter.
Those interested in meeting Nala can visit the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave. in Jackson Township. The shelter is open daily from 1 to 4 p.m. without an appointment.
