The investigation led multiple law enforcement agencies to execute a search warrant Friday at a home on Kearsarge Road in Camden.

  • A juvenile was charged with third-degree receiving stolen property involving a motor vehicle.
  • Police said the BMW was unlocked when it was stolen from a Thornwood Drive residence.
  • The investigation remains active, and police said additional charges may be forthcoming.

Search Warrant Executed at Camden City Residence

Members of the Evesham Township Police Department, New Jersey State Police TEAMS Unit, Camden County Police Department and Moorestown Police Department executed the search warrant Sept. 4.

The warrant targeted a residence on Kearsarge Road in Camden, according to Evesham Police.

“Evidence connected to the investigation was recovered,” the department said.

Police did not provide additional details about the evidence recovered during the search.

The department said a juvenile suspect was subsequently charged with third-degree receiving stolen property involving a motor vehicle. Because the suspect is a juvenile, police said identifying information will not be released.

One was a Toyota sedan reportedly stolen from Moorestown. The other was a Jeep SUV reported stolen from Gloucester Township.

Police have not announced additional charges connected to those two vehicles in the information released so far.
