Oregon State is the lowest seed of the four remaining PAC-12 teams; (Oregon, USC, and UCLA also remain alive). OSU has won 5 in a row, and 8 of their last 9 games. They have been a very good bet lately, going 12-1-0 against the spread, since Feb. 11th. The Beavers don’t rely on just one player to produce, six different players have led Oregon State in scoring in their last eight games. Oregon State is reliable from the free-throw line, they are 30th in the nation in free-throw shooting pct. at 76.7%.

Loyola are the only team so far to have eliminated a #1 seed, beating Illinois 71-58. The oddsmakers are anticipating a lower scoring game due to Loyola-Chicago’s success of controlling the tempo of games. Loyola-Chicago is 5-0-0 against the spread since March 5th, and they have won 19 of their last 20 games. Loyola-Chicago have surrendered more than 60 points only once during those 20 games. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Syracuse/Houston game.   The Wiz has been riding Oregon State the last two weeks and will take the generous points once again.
